4. Health & Responsibility
- Pets listed on Friendly Buddies come with all available health records as provided by the original breeder, shelter, or seller.
- Friendly Buddies acts as a marketplace to connect buyers with sellers. The legal ownership and responsibility for pet care, licensing, and ongoing vaccinations are transferred to the buyer upon completion of the sale or adoption.
Important: We strongly recommend that you schedule a check-up with a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving your new pet to verify its health.
5. Returns & Refunds
- Due to the sensitive nature of live animal sales, returns are only permitted under specific health-related conditions, which must be verified by a licensed veterinarian within a pre-defined timeframe as outlined in the adoption agreement.
- Refund policies for non-live products (e.g., toys, food, supplies) are detailed on our sales and shipping information page.
6. Limitation of Liability
Friendly Buddies, its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or losses that result from the purchase, adoption, or behavior of any pet.
- Any issues arising from the misuse of products or reliance on information provided by third-party sellers on our platform.
